This stunning vintage inlay cuff was made by Laguna-Hopi artist, Duane Maktima. The width tapers from 1 inch at the tips up to 1-3/8 inches in the middle. It features expertly inlaid pieces of Number 8 Turquoise, Lapis Lazuli, Orange Spiny Oyster Shell and Mediterranean Coral. The inside measures 5 inches + 1-1/4 inches for a total inner circumference of 6-1/4 inches. It is seen in the photos just fitting a 6-1/4 inch wrist but not too tight. It is stamped sterling and displays Duane’s mark, a side facing bird figure with a stacked DM next to it.
Duane Maktima is a master Jeweler-Designer-Craftsman who has created a niche/trademark that lives on as heirloom pieces for many distinguished patrons and collectors. Duane’s work is the result of being an accomplished and award winning jeweler for nearly four decades. The knowledge and skill gained throughout those years is evident as his work represents a refinement only available by such accomplished hands.

Will it fit? The best way to determine your ideal cuff size is to measure the inside circumference of a favorite cuff you already wear comfortably. The total measurement is tip to tip (inside) + the open gap. This can be accomplished with a soft measuring tape or a length of string that can be subsequently stretched along a ruler for measurement. You can use the same methods around your wrist to determine total size if you don’t have a cuff to use. If you stack bracelets, you may want to go a little larger for wiggle room, but if you only wear one bracelet at a time, a snugger fit is usually okay. If the cuff is very wide, you will generally need a larger size than usual. It comes down to your personal preference and comfort, but the more you collect, the more familiar you become with what works for you.

Thought I was getting rose dahlia with different shaped stones including hearts. Instead all stones are the same and very dark. Don’t love these. But waited too long to return.
Peacock Color variation looks nothing like the photos on the website. Not much blue in mine, lots of white and some green. But they twist when they hang so they don’t face the front where people can see them. I waited too late to return them but I hate them and won’t wear them. Wish there was a way to get credit and buy something else.
