Navajo Lapis, Turquoise, Blue Opal Shield Pendant

This beautifully well crafted Shield Pendant has been handmade by a Navajo Artisan. The Colors of the Pendant come from Lapis Lazuli, Turquoise and Blue Opal.  

The Pendant measures 2 1/8” long and 1 1/4” wide. These will vary in design due to natural stones.

The Navajo (Dine’) believe that the wind is a powerful source. The native tradition believes that at any moment, the blowing wind can inspire one with hope, resolve, and great wisdom. Wisdom has long been represented by the enchanting stone Lapis Lazuli.
